I begin to miss the bigger cities that have 24 hour food places... Grand Forks is not one such town. Deek's retains it's place in town, largely because of it's ability to still deliver greasy food late at night when McDonald's should really still be open. The pizza's not great, but it's cheap, and the coupons you can occasionally get in the mail make it even cheaper. Just don't try to ingest this stuff unless you're starving or drunk.

My very first experience netted me a pizza that actually offended me, not just in taste, but in the fact that they sold it with a straight face. I did, however, give them a second chance. That being said, delivery is fast, Meat Treat has been consistently great and the drivers have been nice. The first pizza I ever ordered from them was a build-your-own and it was gross. I'm a little weird, so I got pepperoni, jalapenos and mushrooms. The pepperoni was insultingly spare. They went heavy on the jalapenos, but they were crunchy like I like. And the mushrooms were those little gross slimy ones you can get in a can for 88 cents at any grocery store. It also took forever to be delivered (I'm assuming they were out of mushrooms and had to run to any aforementioned store). All in all, it was the worst pizza I've ever had delivered. Don't get a custom pizza. Since then, I've ordered only the Meat Treat after my roommate begged me to try it again because she absolutely adores the place. She has been getting a tomato slice and tamato sauce-only pizza and has been happy for years. The Meat Treat is delicious and piled with toppings upon toppings. I guess because the specialty pizzas are made so often, or because they have a minimum amount of ingredients and explicit directions that workers can use...or perhaps I've just had a better pizza maker on subsequent orders. I'm glad I gave them a second chance, but if I get another bummer pizza, I'll have to move on permanently. Fool me once... They do mail you hand-signed gift certificates without your permission after you've ordered there, even if you didn't sign up for a perks account. I would be annoyed...except $5 off any pizza is fine by me. Because all my subsequent pizzas have been better than the first and my roommate has had no problems with them ever, I gave them three stars.

Never order from here! The short: - terrible customer service. - tried to make us pay twice - pizza is mediocre We should have backed out as soon as we had to prepay for our delivery-- that seemed weird, but we decides to give them a chance. What followed would have been a comedy of errors, except we were hungry, we had already paid and we just weren't in a laughing mood. If you want to keep customers, you've got to own up to your mistakes and try to make things right. Deek's seems to be most interested in trying to make you pay twice for their "cheap" pizza.

Half of of our pizza was burned to the point that it was hard and inedible.When I called to complain, they said they were having problems with their oven. So you burn the pizza and deliver it anyway?? The only solution they had was to send another pizza. I did not want another burned pizza and asked for store credit and they refused. Bad pizza and even worse customer service.

I waited for an hour and a half only to receive a cold pizza and breadsticks. At least the 2 liter of Pepsi wasn't warm. The pizza itself tasted OK but was not cut all the way through so it was a mess trying to pull the pieces apart. The breadsticks were decent but were soggy and cold due to the lenghty time they say out. If you are looking for good food in a timely manner, Deek's Pizza is not for you. However, if you are a poor twenty-year-old who has been up all night and wants a few greasy pizzas delivered to you for a few bucks, Deek's pizza is perfect for you. Fortunately for me, I fell under the latter tonight.

DANG! do NOT NOT NOT order the boneless "wings"! I ordered a 10 piece boneless wings with my pizza. I got 10 shriveled up breaded chicken chunks. For $7.00. Wow, peeved. Will not order these again. I'll post a pic up here. You guys gotta see these. Also, we ordered online. The total gave to us online was 22-something. Our total at the door was 26-something! Sorry to our delivery driver! We wrote 5 bucks into the check before the driver got there and yea, our driver got short changed big time. Delivery was prompt and our driver was very polite. Ugh wish I had cash on hand to make it up to him. But buyer beware, what you see on line isn't what you'll pay in person. The pizza itself was very good. Looked and tasted fresh. Super disappointed in the price thing and the chicken wings weren't even close to wings. Chicken nuggets from mcdonalds look 10 times better than these things. Pizza was good but overall this was a disaster. Probably won't order again.

Prices were high for the quality. Cost $40 for 2 large pizzas. They were bland and didn't have much toppings. They arrived warm still just not what I was expecting.

Hey, yo, Tom my man It's 3 AM and I'm stoned Wanna share some Deeks? (I'm a fan of Deek's pizza. I like the fact that this local pizza place can hold its own against the likes of the chain-stores like Pizza Hut and Dominoes. AND, I like that I can get some 'za delivered at 3:15 am if I'm in the need. Thanks for helping us all out, Deeks. We love you.)

Arrived in time and was warm, perfect, and tasty. I am no college student, but we ordered late and were very impressed. Chicken bacon ranch pizza was amazing! Next time we are in GF, we'll be calling!

Deeks is ALWAYS a good idea. Don't listen to these negative reviews. And they deliver til like 3am! That's amazing! Their bread sticks and sauce are so good. Garlicky, but good.

We always have a positive experience with Deeks. They aren't my favorite pizza place so I can't give them 5 stars, but we order their food regularly. Every month or so we get Deeks delivered. Huge pizza, wings, and a 2 liter soda for a little over $20. It always comes on time and is tasty. Thanks Deeks!

They always have coupons for cheap pizza, and deliver really late... So they're great for students in the dorms. But, the pizza isn't very good (and sometimes a little hairy...) ick.
